As of today, 72 wagons or about 4,000 containers have been packed at the Chinese port of Tianjin.
Most of China's exports and imports from third countries pass through the port of Tianjin. If there were no violations of customs clearance or other documents at the port, the goods would usually be shipped to Mongolia within a week, but since March 29, the containers have not moved.
There is one train, who has a 55-60 container, comes from large area per day. Therefore, 7-10 container trains a week are delivered to Mongolia from Tianjin port. There is also a shortage of containers, which has led to a 20% increase in shipping costs over previous years, and a 2-3 month delay in shipments.
